Hey, I'm Prabhat. I design and build websites, and almost every one of them starts the same way: with a marker, a blank board and a lot of arrows.
I like sketching because it is cheap to be wrong on a whiteboard. A layout that looks clever in my head usually falls apart the moment I draw it at mobile size, and it is much nicer to find that out before writing a single line of CSS.
Once a sketch survives, I build it for real and then spend an unreasonable amount of time on the small stuff: how a button squishes when you press it, how a heading breaks on a narrow screen, how fast the first paint feels on an everyday mobile.
Lately I have been making series of sites, each one a study of a single idea. The full list lives here, and the projects I keep coming back to are on the home page.
